Our next Lantra Pesticides training spraying courses, are on Wednesday, 26th Feb (PA1 Safe Use of Pesticides) and Thursday, 27th Feb PA2 (Boom sprayer)

A few days later after the training, there is an NPTC PA1on-line test (1 hour), followed on another day by the PA2 practical assessment (approx 3 hours). The candidate must pass the on-line test and the practical assessment to obtain the NPTC PA2 spraying certificate.

The total cost per candidate is £670 + vat (max 6 candidates).

If you are eligible for 80% Farming Connect funding , please APPLY NOW !

4 places are available on our forthcoming course here at Caerlan Farm.

Actual chemicals are not used for the practicals.
The PA2 practical does require a reasonable level of competence in mathematics. The PA2 practical is essentially oral questioning and observation by the assessor.

We prefer whenever possible, to use our venue here at Caerlan Farm.

In any case the PA1 on-line test has to be done at Caerlan Farm where we have the PC’s set up for the PA1 on-line tests (multiple choice answers – tick the answer you think is correct – so IT competence is minimal).
If needed, literacy support for PA1 test is no problem, we can read out the questions and answers.I
