Accredited Training Programme – the main points:
▪ This is a new programme and all instances of previously approved training courses will not be counted in this
new programme which means if a person wants to apply for e.g. business planning course again ( which they
were previously approved for in the last programme ) they will be able to do so.
▪ The removal of application windows in the new programme. The application page will be open on BOSS /
Business Wales at all times , this will hopefully make is easier for people to apply for a training course and for
those assisting them. All being well the plan is to open the application page at 9am Monday 15th May 2023.
▪ Approximately 70 courses added initially – more in due course especially focusing on land management.
▪ To apply is a 2 step process via the Business Wales ( BOSS ) website
- Complete a Personal Development Plan
- Submit an application for a training course
▪ Applications submitted in one month will be approved at the beginning of the following month with
applicants notified within 10 working days.
