THE BASICS- FOR RETURNING CUSTOMERS.

The new programme-everyone under & over 40 can apply for 3 courses in a year. Only one of these can be machinery equipment.
- You can apply ANYTIME after May 15^TH 2023. The application window is now permanently available. If you apply in May, you will be informed approx. mid- June. Apply in June and you will heat mid-July and so on. You have 9 months to complete the training you applied for.
If you applied for a course in the previous programme, and for whatever reason- covid etc you didn’t do it, you can re-apply now- clean slate policy.

HOW SIMPLY THE BEST PLAN TO RUN THIS

We intend to publish a timetable of courses/and where we run them. These dates will be available to the 19 FC development officers- so you can now apply for a date & venue in mind.
Business courses, H and S, Rodents and moles are available pan Wales – see map.

Add a goal for the course you want to do. It is a good idea to name the course / courses required in the details of the goal. The goal can be one sentence, best to have 5 or more sentences in the description, answering why you need to do this.
As soon as PDP is updated, then apply straight away.

When on PDP, copy your goal description, and then you can paste into the application form.

The application form requires the full price ex vat. We have a price list available, and is also available to your local development officer.

Quick summary of what STB offer.

Mole trapping and Rodent control ALL business courses and Health and safety pan Wales.
Pesticides- only at STB, South East Wales, only 1 course quarterly. It is a 2.5 day commitment.
Vet technical courses- not running for first 6 months of programme.
Woodland management for Conservation- zoom sessions run monthly. Occasionally F2F only at STB.
ATV – at STB only, can be weekends.
Brushcutters and woodchippers are NEW
